 Thiago Silva has been impressed with new Chelsea teammate Kalidou Koulibaly.


The 37-year-old started alongside Koulibaly for the first-time in the win over Udinese on Friday, paired in back three with Cesar Azpilicueta.


Chelsea kick-off their Premier League season against Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday.


"It was good," Silva told the club's website.


"He is a player with a lot of experience. He played in Italian football, which for me is the best defensive schooling you can possibly receive. He is ready for our ideas. He played 70 minutes, and on Saturday he will be ready to play 90.
