Breaking News.... Ronaldo says he is coming to Chelsea... Thomas Tuchel confirms the 55m signing

 

This summer has seen Cristiano Ronaldo linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with the Portuguese legend rumoured to be looking for a route out of Old Trafford after failing to qualify for the Champions League last season.


It is understood by football.london that talks were held between Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes and new Chelsea owner, but that Thomas Tuchel opted against signing the five-time Ballon D'Or winner. The 37-year-old was United's top scorer last season, but the club struggled following his arrival at the club last summer, finishing sixth in the Premier League and winning no trophies.
